Ocracoke Island

On Labor Day we took the ferry out to the Ocracoke Island and hung out on the beach for the day. The weather was perfect. This is Ken and Michelle trying to catch a wave. Today (Tuesday) we plan to walk across the street and sit on the beach and then after lunch Michelle and I will head up to Kitty Hawk and start our journey home. We're going to take two days and get home as scheduled on Wednesday. I just don't want to do the drive in one day.

Day One on the beach

Well we got up about 9ish and were on the beach at 10 for a few hours. It is just across the street and then after lunch we drove down to another beach and hung out there for a few hours. Really nice day!

Arrived at Avon, NC

The drive was pretty long, but we stopped several times. Looking forward to vegging.
